Privacy, records, and medical disclaimer.
This page explains what information SinoMedBridge collects, how we use it, when we share medical records, and the limits of our role. It is written in plain English, not legal jargon.
1. Who we are
SinoMedBridge (“SinoMedBridge”, “we”, “us”) is an international medical coordination company. Our coordination office is in Beijing, China, with service centers and partners in other cities. You can contact us at contact@sinomedbridge.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to coordinate your care. This may include:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, and preferred language.
- Medical information — diagnosis, symptoms, imaging, pathology, laboratory results, medication list, allergies, and treatment history that you choose to share.
- Travel and administrative information — passport details, visa status, insurance information, arrival dates, and accommodation preferences where needed for coordination.
- Website information — basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, if collected by our hosting provider. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and assess whether our services are relevant.
- Organize, translate, and summarize medical records for hospital review.
- Identify suitable hospitals and specialists and coordinate appointments.
- Arrange travel, interpretation, admission, and follow-up support.
- Provide cost estimates and invoices for our coordination services.
- Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal or medical information. We do not use your medical information for advertising.
4. When we share medical records
We share medical records only when it is necessary to coordinate your care and only with your consent. This usually means sharing records with:
- The hospital, department, or physician reviewing your case.
- Translation and interpretation providers who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Travel or accommodation providers, only where necessary and only for the administrative details required.
- Professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
We do not share your records with hospitals or specialists you have not agreed to contact. If you want us to stop sharing records, tell your coordinator in writing.
5. Consent and your choices
By submitting an enquiry, you consent to us contacting you about your request. Before we share medical records with a hospital, we will explain what will be shared and ask for your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, although this may mean we can no longer coordinate your care.
6. Data retention and security
We keep personal and medical information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, for our legitimate business records, or as required by law. We use access controls, secure storage, and confidentiality agreements with our team and partners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you are concerned about a specific document, ask us for a secure alternative.
7. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when the page loads. If we add analytics or other third-party services later, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact contact@sinomedbridge.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Medical disclaimer
The information on this website is for general education and coordination purposes. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. It does not replace a consultation with a qualified physician.
SinoMedBridge is a medical coordination company. We do not provide medical care, employ the physicians who treat you, or control hospital clinical decisions. All medical decisions — including whether to travel, whether a procedure is appropriate, and what treatment to pursue — are made by you and your treating physicians.
Hospital access, appointment availability, treatment eligibility, timelines, and costs are subject to case review and confirmation by the treating hospital. We do not guarantee medical outcomes, visa approval, or a specific physician.
Medical emergencies: If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not use this website or wait for a reply from SinoMedBridge.
